Juliana Piquero
Juliana is Argentinian, currently living between Madrid and Berlin. She is a yoga teacher, dancer and choreographer. She has been a dedicated student to yoga for more than thirteen years, graduated in Social Communication, and has a Master’s degree in Scenic Practice and Visual Culture. Since 2008, Juliana has been studying Spanish Sign Language.
For Juliana, yoga is fundamental to her life and has helped her in overcoming mental health issues. She believes that yoga should be a practice that is accessible to everyone. Her intention is to cultivate both unity and wellness, as well as strengthening the connection between our inner and outer being.
Juliana has studied and trained the most in Ashtanga and Vinyasa (following the method of Sri K. Patthabi Jois as taught by Grisha Steffin in Berlin). Pursuing her passion for Ashtanga, she deepened her practice with senior Ashtanga teachers Richard Freeman, Nancy Gilgoff, Maty Ezraty and Chuck Miller. She has further broadened her yoga knowledge and experience to include Iyengar, Hatha and Vinyasa.
