We are an international team of facilitators coming from Colombia, New Zealand, Spain, Australia, Wales, Argentina, Austria and USA, currently scattered across the globe. Magda, Katie, Mike & Zak met in Kopan Monastery in early 2020.

Due to the travel restrictions imposed by COVID-19 Magda and Katie remain in lockdown in Kopan Monastery. They feel very blessed to be in one of the most sacred places in the world during this time, and could have never imagined that they would be stranded in Nepal! Zak and Mike both decided to leave the Monastery.

Unfortunately Zak didn’t get too far as his flight to Thailand was cancelled at the last moment. The Monastery gates are locked during this time due to the virus, so he is now staying in Kathmandu very close to the Great Stupa of Boudhanath, which is one of the largest stupas in the world and very precious to Buddhists particularly in the Tibetan lineage. Zak usually resides in Thailand, where he teaches English.

Mike had a little more success, and made it back to Philadelphia, USA on a chartered government flight. He spent the first two weeks in quarantine alone and then shifted into the family home after several years travelling abroad.

Juliana is in Madrid, in isolation with her girlfriend, whilst Victoria, Kelley, Juliette, Candance, Lina, Phoebe and Christian remain quarantined in their homes in Berlin with their children and families.

Magda normally resides in Berlin and brought us all together as a collective to work on this project, for the benefit of all those who need these techniques during these strange and challenging times.

We are all grateful for the opportunity to be where we are, embracing our individual and collective uncertainty and to be working on this project together.

May you be happy <3
